Provider Executive Leadership Institute (PELI).

Course Begins Fall 2018 in Lewiston, ME.

Enrollment Limited to 20 APPs.

We are delighted to announce that enrollment is now underway for the Daniel Hanley Center for Health Leadership’s inaugural Provider Executive Leadership Institute (PELI) specifically for Advanced Practice Professionals.

The role of Advanced Practice Professionals in the delivery of healthcare services has never been more important.  APPs are a vital and precious resource in every corner of our state and their integral inclusion in care teams requires them to pull upon leadership and management skills often not covered in their training.

The Hanley Center has heard loud and clear the desire and need for a leadership development course specifically for APPs across Maine.  We have tailored our well-respected physician PELI Foundational Course to suit the leadership development challenges that Advanced Practice Professionals face. Participants will gain knowledge, skills, and tools in the following core competency areas, empowering them to lead and transform our healthcare delivery system.

  • Systems awareness
  • Strategic focus
  • Management/business skills
  • Self-awareness
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Healthcare trends
